I currently have the aswc steering wheel control unit hooked up to a pioneer avh4400 in my 09 tacoma. I'm going to be trading out the 4400 for a 4200NEX pioneer and I'm wondering if the aswc will still retain it's information when I rewire it into the 4200's wiring harness?

I thought about upgrading to the maestro unit but I already have an ultra gauge so the maestro would be redundant and I'll save $100+ dollars.

Yes. I used my PAC-swi in my old vehicle with multiple Kenwood head units and worked right from the get go.
