    I think it looks best to use a natural line on the body as the edge of the decal, and to keep the decal equidistant from vertical and horizontal body lines. The top of my decals use the natural fold in the top of the door, which is 3" below the window, so the decals are placed 3" behind the leading cut of the front door.
