Happy Saturday peeps. Was outside literally all day doing yard work. Also did a good deed and mowed an elderly neighbors grass. His machine is in the shop.

 

Checked out the Pelfrey forum their stuff looks great. But no-go with the stock hitch. I don't like the flip up license plate to get to the hitch. All I am towing is a 17' Mako as well but it would make me nervous that someone would make it a reason to pull me over. A couple beers while fishing and I would be dicked.

 

Good morning everyone. Happy Monday. Feel like shit. Rough weekend as far allergies and a possible cold at the same time goes.

 

Welded the legs onto my TG sliders this weekend and got a couple coats of primer on. Maybe I'll get them painted and installed this week!

 

Met up with Jon (@jc11taco89) yesterday and did some work on the sliders. Put on the POR15, looks awesome with just the POR on them but plan is to do Raptor Liner this weekend and install

Howdy folks. Happy hump day.

Took a day off from work to get some stuff done. Sitting around now, watching shitty daytime TV, waiting for 2 o'clock to go pick up my oldest from daycare and take him to his 3 year check up.

In the process of getting stuff done, I removed those little mud flaps in the front, since I think that's where I'm getting some rubbing since I got my rims and tires put on. Guess we'll see later when I go out, to see if it still rubs.

 

I swapped out my front mud flaps with the ones from husky liner muuuch better!

 

You're talking about the full size mud flaps though, right?! I'm talking about those tiny little ones, that are bolted on on the "front" part... if that made sense.

 

Not really sure. Might be a newer truck thing? I was talking about the normal ones behind the tire

 

What your talking about are called air damms, that's usually the first place u run when up sizing tires

Hello from up in the sticks of Stafford Springs. I just picked up my new ride this past Friday and I already have the Softopper installed along with some mud flaps. I have a short throw shifter coming for this weekend. After only 3 days without it I decided that was the one thing I missed about my 2nd gen along with the Softopper, which I ordered even before I found my new truck.

I'm considering doing the low end OME 2" lift and i'm in the market for some winter tires to go on my beater steel rims. I'm looking to get some help doing the lift once I make a decision. Any interest in having a tech day? I've got tons of tools, beer and a grill at the house here.

The picture is from Saturday, only an hour after picking it up. You can see my two wheeled smile machine in there for a photo bomb too.

Edit* I forgot to mention that I have the fluid film gun and 3' flex extension to do the frame rails. Later this summer I plan to spray my truck. If anyone is interested in going in on a 5 gallon pail let me know.

 

@lapoltba Truck looks great! if you weren't so damn far away i would come by for beers at least on tech day... keep us posted anyways.
