Again I don't think EVERYONE is going to have quality issues. I just think the bar was set high for Toyota and they've been dropping the ball.

What's your point? You feel differently about your than my purchase. Everyone has opinions. You even say you like your truck. That's definitely NOT Smitty's opinion. Sorry if I hurt people's feelings, to quote someone "I call it how I see it".

I can maybe somewhat agree with that but let's not pretend that's your only claim.

You didn't hurt my feelings. Some people just let their "asshole" show more than others, so to speak.

Welcome to this generation of automobiles. Ive sat in plenty of vehicles lately and the Tacomas fit and finish is on par or better. So the $40k deal dont fly with me. And fwiw, I dont see that guy th365thli being a dick. He makes lots of sense to me.

    :notsure::notsure:
easy solution other than dealing with widespread quality deterioration is to get rid of it and get something better:notsure:coming on TW and bemoaning the truck wont change your situation only action towards making yourself happy will, so get it over with already and get something better if the truck isn't up to your standards.there are more people that like the truck than those who don't and their counter points are just as valid as yours and smittys.

I didn't say you. I said some people which could include yours truly.

Also I was trying to be good natured about it.

Same boat czar.....Luckily I can wrench on my own vehicles with info extrapolated from smitty and many countless others. It's what the forum is for isn't it? Public announcement, whether it's good or bad. We're all adults are we not? Respect others opinions and hear them out. If you don't like what they're spouting then turn the other way or just ignore the fucker.

I've got some annoying fucking engineers to play with....
They're trying to argue the charging pad is the greatest selling point of a vehicle and I'm telling them to fuck off because these things get too hot for their actual effective output.

Thanks for the lunch time entertainment, I'll leave this here...

You're just like my ex, smitty, the word games galore......

But semantics aside. I recognize in forum arguments points can be lost in the shuffle.

    So to summarize my points
    1. No matter how you justify it, you lost more money on your car than you should have. Every month you keep that car you lose money. There is no rational for you to keep it any longer if you're going to sell it anyway. This is fact.
    2. Your conclusions are faulty. I think you tried to shift your argument by backpedaling and saying that you don't believe "EVERY" car has issues, but your generalizations are still out there.
    3. I can roll with your conclusions that Toyota isn't the same as before.

Who would choose a phone with wireless charging over one with the fast charging feature anyways?

Yeah and they want to place it in a resting place that would promote dangerous driving habits.
I asked all of them if they had wireless charging in their vehicles and where they placed their phones while driving. Guess what... exactly the opposite of the same design bullshit they're trying to push onto me!

You realize that even if the vehicle had no depreciation you're still losing money if you're going to sell it NO MATTER WHAT right? Like....all your future monthly payments can instead go to the new truck you are going to buy anyway. The only way this changes if the vehicle actually APPRECIATED. Which literally doesn't happen.

    BRUH.
