So guys I have a 2012 Tacoma on a spacer lift now. I'm looking at options for a true 3" lift. Here are my thoughts:
I plan on doing minimal, very mild off roading. Most of my driving is around town. I would like to keep my 33x12.50r18's. The truck does have a steel bumper and winch on the front and a steel bumper and cap on the rear. It already rubs about everything. I'm doing a cab mount chop this weekend and cutting the flares and liner. I basically have two options. Adnustable Coil overs (1,100$+) and springs and shocks (500$+). What are the pros and cons of both. Obviously coil overs are better, but for the money are they worth putting on my truck? Also I already have minor rubbage on the control arms. Will this get worse with more lift? What are some cost effective options for both setups? Thanks for your thoughts!
