Just right there. I just kinda guessed and put it where the sound was coming from. Suuuper janky. But hey, it worked and the sound was no longer driving me insane.

What about a thin hose....like vacuum line? And would it need to go the entire length of the window frame....or just near the top?

You probably could use a thin backer rod but, as a doomsday prepper, I much prefer @twhalm's solution. LOL. Shoot... fill it up with paracord, dollar bills, matches, etc.

You could have taken it to the dealer where they would tell you its normal, or replaced the door for a "fix" for a hefty kick in the nuts.

The garbage bag sounds like a win to me.

Isn't there a similar noise that can come from the lower control arms?

I am pretty sure you can solve that with a bag too. :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:

There's a really simple solution to that humming sound from the door seals at freeway speeds.
Just move to L.A. - there's so much damn traffic you'll never go faster than 30 mph on the freeway and I guarantee you'll never hear that annoying sound again :D

The odd sound I hear, at speeds over 70 and windy, comes from my air vents, not from the door. Not sure what it is, but it annoys the fuck outa me when it happens. Sounds like a fucking kazoo.

First time I heard the seals leak, spooked the crap out of me, until I figured out what it was. Comes and goes, I haven't done anything with it.
