so I was looking at 17x9, -38mm offset, and that should have no problem fitting (same thing you got).

what I cant find on the trail ready site is if the wheel itself is alum, not JUST the ring???? If all im paying a bunch extra for is an alum ring, then its def not worth it to me (others may disagree). the methods are lookin like 339$ for one, the TF are like 529$ for one....I have a little while to continue my homework but for a mostly street truck im not sure if I can logically accept that price difference for what I'm doing with them.

dave, whats your thoughts on things?

I was looking at the Methods due to price/looks. The DIY is cheaper of course :D

You know as much as I do. Size should work fine though. I'd check to see if the Methods are prone to bending before I went that route though.

Trail Ready wheels is what id buy if I'm spending big money on beadlocks. They even offer a lifetime warranty.

    http://secure.trbeadlocks.com/17x8-125-45hd17beadlockwheel.aspx

To me, you can't justify the price of high end beadlocks for wheeling purposes only. Id personally buy them because they are baller, not because I think I can destroy them. Most people buying wheels like this are people who run buggies in KOH and trophy trucks who see 100+ mph speeds through the desert. Where they plan on breaking a wheel.

prone to bending? are we talking the actual rim itself, causing the wheel to not properly seal? that would defeat the point of a beadlock haha and would suck to buy if that were to happen

Thanks man! its been a long work in progress and still going; as for most of our builds

Gid, the only problem I have is I am looking more for function (in conjunction with "cool" factor haha) and more so, if those TR wheels are meant for 100+ Baja then it makes it even less reasonable to pay that IF (and only if) the methods wouldn't hold up to the monthly wheeling trips I would attend. (on the flip side, since I still want to cage the truck and run it O/R eventually, the TR beadlocks may just be more of a long term investment haha)

@allmotorrex where did you get your a-pillar dual pod gauge mount from?

Looking for a similar set up for boost and afr but thought one of the companies made the grey WAY off. Saw a pic of yours through google images and didnt think it was bad (color-wise)

Very bottom of the page. And it's pretty close. Def darker but I don't even notice it when it's mounted.
