Me and my soon to be wife to be are planning on driving from Tennessee to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado late this summer for 10 days to look for a new home. We did a similar drive last summer when the Tacoma was new, but this time around I want to make the drive a bit more enjoyable.

What interior things, and it can be anything, is something that you may have that I haven't thought of? I'm talking phone mounts, storage solutions, speaker upgrades, chargers, cup holders, seat covers, anything that will improve the function or comfort of the inside.

Absolutely the best phone mount I've ever used.

I would recommend Wet Okoles for seat covers. They look great and add quite a bit of comfort, more so than Clazzio imo, which would be nice on a road trip.

I you don't already have them, those larger radio buttons, they're much better than the factory buttons.

They supply a metal plate that you adhere to your phone or if you are not a teenage girl and own a andriod phone rather than a iphone, you don't need to apply the plate

how well does the magnet attach? can it be knocked off or moved around easily? i like the minimal mounting... both the Hondo and Proclip solutions eat up real estate or function there and i don't like either. if you have any pics would you mind sharing?

The magnet is ridiculously strong. It can hold 90 lbs and is designed for off road use. They supply a rubber cover that cuts the hold force by about 50% if I remember correctly. I use that as 90 lbs is more than I would ever need. The holder itself is powder coated. It's a pricey mount but worth it

My first thoughts were totally in the gutter. Since you're taking the wife, just hope for some "detours" to get some action, knowing you have some breaks will make the driving part more tolerable. lol

A couple things I would recommend though:
    1. Spotify. Worth so much more than the $14/month. Especially since you can download all the music to your phone and listen offline in areas of poor reception.
    2. Cooler that can fit in the backseats
    3. Lumbar pillow: https://www.amazon.com/LoveHome-Bal...F8&qid=1495639194&sr=8-13&keywords=car+pillow
    4. Emergency kit: grab stuff like chargers, tire inflators, flares, etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DGJHV8K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

the Hondo replacement buttons for Entune are awesome. massive improvement of feel and quality.

    - cubby divider is great.
    - a $10,000 stereo is pretty nice too. dynamat helps with sound quality but also just road noise when driving with the radio off.
    - custom carved seat buckets have made my driver's seat the most comfortable chair i own.
    - limo tint in the back is great for Texas but maybe not good for everyone, esp night driving.
    - a custom shift knob is the proverbial cherry on top for the MT guys.
    - Flyzeye LEDs are super great for both the cubby and glovebox. cheap, easy, effective, magnetically actuated. http://www.flyzeye-designs.com/3VP.html
    - NOCO Genius just in case https://no.co/g26000

probably be back for more later!
