@303tacoma I just put those on my truck last week and I didn't even look to see how they were attached to the post.
Really should have checked that. :anonymous: Was tired, was getting late.

Ya I tried and tried to loosen them off the truck, then the light bulb went on!!! Put them back on the truck... Loosened right up... You will need longer bolts with the spacers
Figured I share in case anyone else runs into the same issue
    :D

I bought two 1/4" spacers with my bump stops. Would it be more beneficial to put them on the front bumpstops or on the back bumpstops? I was thinking that I was getting 4 that's why I ordered them

That's a pretty broad question you need to measure and figure out where you need them... Search and research!! Here is one thread and there are more..

Just installed SuperBumps in the front of my Tacoma(bone stock suspension). I took it for a 0200 test drive through a speed bump filled parking lot and the Superbumps made those speed bumps feel way smoother. Stock rubber was pretty jarring. Superbumps made those same speed bumps smoooooooth at both low and higher speed. Cornering seems a little firmer and nose dive on braking isn't as bad.

For the record I was hitting my stock bump stops pretty regularly out on forest roads. Not a pleasant experience with the stockers. I have a feeling just based on my first test drive the Superbumps will be awesome.

The only comment I have is they were a motherfucker to install. I ended up using a 1/4" drive deep socket and an 8mm bit to get them installed, but only after I spent the time to cut the supplied allen key only to find it was still too long. It would be nice if Wheeler's would at least include a usable tool for installs that are done without dropping the LCA.

After doing a few installs, I just throw the key in a vise and chop about an inch off. Then throw the truck up on jack stands at full droop and install them. Never had an issue in the front doing it this way.

I think the first issue was I only had a Dremel and files to cut it the key with and I broke my last cut off wheel. Took me a long time to cut 3/4" off and it wasn't enough to get the bolt started. I did have the truck at full droop.

What size socket did you use to remove the stock bump stops?

So the Allen key that came with is 8mm? Any chance of using a hex-socket On ratchet?

Possibly with the right extension just long enough to enter the bump stop.

6112s and 5160 , Dakars , Superbumps x4 , u-bolt flip , All Pro Skids (hacked and raised) , 265/70R17 KO2s, SEMA wheels, couple of machined things here and there
I cut an Allen to be just long enough to protrude out of the superbump and then used a ratcheting wrench.
