It was thrown by a life-long baseball player who was scouted by MLB when he was in college. Blew his shoulder pitching, but still played ball afterward.
He was playing first, I was playing third. Runner on first.
Ball is hit, fielder throws to first (batter out), first hurls the ball hard as he can (first base runner is now about 20' from me), and the ball breaks left right before getting to me, curves right over top of the pocket of my glove and SMACK! right in my face!

Blood was everywhere, glasses were mangled, people were in shock, I was cool as a cucumber. I first got up and said, "I'm fine, but where are my glasses? Can;t see to pick them up and don;t wanna step on them." Someone replied, "Oh my god! You're going to the hospital NOW!"
-I then reached up to wipe 'sweat' from my face, it was blood...lol

 

Except all the recalls in damn every gun the last couple years...

 

Am sad. Bar stopped carrying Monster. I been coming up here since I was 18 to shoot pool, and they always had my beloved Monsters. Guess I'm drinking Red Bull
