Ultimate LED Mirror Turn Signal

I'm always looking for good amber LEDs.

VERSION 2 in the works.
I designed, and had custom manufactured a COB led to fit in the mirror signal. This will bring the cost down as well for future Ultimate turn signals!

 

Are these still available?? If so Im in!

I saw someone else ask on the last page but didn't see a response, are you just baking these to open them like the headlights? Do they have the same permaseal as the headlights or is it a softer seal?

I could do that, just need to wire in a sequential module.

No. They are epoxyed together. An oven will not work.

 

Just to clarify, I'm still down for option 2, smoked and I'll wait for the sequential option when/if that becomes available!
More options keep coming up so I'm... trying... to.. stay.. ahead.... of it.

I've seen replacement caps with turn signal on fleabay for $88/pair. That would solve the mod requirement for the cap. The light assembly would not be able to be fitted then ?

 

I think that there are more issues to resolve. No wires present in door for the signals, interior of mirrors are different lack the hooks/clips and the screw point for the blinker, the attachment points for the mirror cap may also be in different.

My guess is it would be cheaper/easier to get the full mirror assembly with blinker from a salvage yard, ebay, etc and just have the wiring issue to deal with.

almost forgot...thanks @mesojdm. Got my turn signals..frickken love them. Now to figure out what to do with the headlights to be finally rid of all the chrome
