We run everything in big batches. Batches are the only way to keep Production time and cost down. Running one set at a time is extremely inefficient. Not that this applies to you guys much but some good reading. Check out The Kanban System and Lean Manufacturing. Kanban was developed by Toyota and they basically pioneered and perfected mass production.

I'll stand at the saw and cut and miter 100's of pieces over a couple days to just have them on the shelf ready for weld. Same with rock sliders hoops. I'll cut and bend 50 or more sets of hoops and then have them on the rack and ready. It also allows me to see visuals so I know when it's time to order more steel or run more parts. Running out of goods is the worse thing that can happen because then you're holding up your fabricator and playing catch up.

    Absolutely.

I use that shit in my day job, it applies way beyond manufacturing production.

I use a rolled up towel as a lumbar support. Makes life 100x better.

In all honesty though, I probably spend more time in my truck than anyone and I have no gripes w/ the seat at all. Does the TRD Sport come w/ a different seat than base? Took me 3 hours to get to Parsippany yesterday and the only uncomfortable feeling I had was my bladder on the verge of catastrophic explosion.
