99 Tacoma prerunner 2wd

Does anyone know if the differential locker from a 99 4Runner fit my 99 Tacoma prerunner?
And if is worth buying it they are selling me a use one for $300.

 

Is your truck TRD? Is the 4runner a stock E-locker.

If your truck is not TRD, the factory E-locker will not fit, you need a complete 8" elocker axle from a tacoma.

The 3rd member from a 4runner elocker will be the same as the 3rd member from a tacoma trd axle.

 

Thanks for the reply I would have to order one then let me see if I can get cheap one and see if my mechanic knows how to install it and how much he will charge me for it.
