Does the LT kit play well with Drop Brackets and Aftermarket Knuckles. I see on the website it has a drop down option for aftermarket spindles, not sure what type. Is there someone on TW to ask. I called DK and it went to message.

    3.5" drop brackets.

They are referring to lift spindles, like a maxtrac, or camburg 4in lift spindles.

I would be weary of those aftermarket spindles being able to handle the stress. You'll get way more than 3.5 inches of lift with just the LT kit and it will be correct geometry.

Did he have to cut the crossmember to go the drop bracket route? If so, then yea at a minimum he would need a new crossmember fit and welded first just to reset his truck again.

    You should do it!

I'm sure if the stock spindle bolts to the lift spindle then the dk arm should as well. I can take pics of mine if you want.

I was able to notch it and plate the cross member. I have fully reinforced the drop brackets and tied them into the frame in several locations with 1/4" and 3/16" plate. I also made custom skid plates that tie everyting together as well. The drop brackets are 1/4" plate as well.

It's a pretty beefy setup, I figured if it sucks I'll remove it and just run the LT.

Def is a nice set up you did for that. Just realize that LT is designed around a stock front geometry. If you have anything altering that like a drop bracket cross member then you could cause a lot of weird expectations out of that kit. Also, LT is beneficial with making 2-4 inches of height doable without cranking the CVs up too much which provide great ground clearance. With your drop bracket, you might still be hindered with your front clearance as well. If you are going to commit to the price of LT, I would very strongly recommend removing the lift in the front completely.

The part I'd like to order is DK, but doesn't qualify for the GB.
