Can you run 285/75r16 on stock UCA with a 4.5" backspacing and get away with just a cab mount chop? Or is it a bit more intensive with stock UCAs

The stock 265/75/16 hankook HT that come on the 2017 poverty model suck on anything but pristine dry pavement.

Truth. The ventus v12 was pretty good for the $$$.

I want to get new wheels. I have factory steelies. I've considered some steel pro comps like D windows or something so my sensors can be swapped over. I don't really want to dick with new sensors for alloy wheels.

 

So Firestone apparently won't do road hazard on LT tires that aren't made by them. So looks like I can buy any tire I want online now.

I would advice AGAINST the steel pro comps. I bought a set and the rims we're out of round and unable to be fixed. It was such a problem WheelersOffroad pulled them from their website. I went with Mickey Thompson Classic III and could not be happier. They were like $106 a rim when I got them with a Mail In Rebate IIRC.
