Looks cool. To make it what I really want I'd have to modify it a bit more than I'd like though, so I'll stick with my plan to eventually build my own. Maybe.

I really want an inReach for emergencies outside of cell reception. How do you like it?

I absolutely fucking love mine, Mike. For all of the solo stuff I want to do, it's a must.

It's really nice to be able to pause the subscription (you do pay a little more per month) as well as send messages and enable tracking via their website. Never had to use the SOS, and I hope I never have to!

How do you like the iPad, and what are you running off of it?

    Thanks!

Yeah that's another reason. I don't want to go off the grid and have no way for my wife to contact me, especially if there is an emergency back home as well. We saw that with a friend who was out with no cell reception and his wife was hitting a bunch of us up to try to get in contact with him, but we didn't hear from him either because he had no service. Really opened my eyes to stuff like this.

I'm really into the InReach as well and only need the yellow one because all my navigation is on phone and tablet. Good for my mom and gf who want to hear from me while I'm out hunting. I think I pay $25/month for 30 outbound messages. Don't need that many but good to have it in case of an emergency.

Well actually ...color matching your bumpers & accessories causes a loss of EAF points ( unless the truck is OD green ) To overcome this you will be required to show 7 more pieces of EAF flair mounted to the exterior of the truck.

A small handful of select mods.
Solid axle -15 points due not maintaining the vehicles original IFS configuration. :D

What happens if you exceed 30 messages? Will it stop sending or will they just charge you per message after that? I'm thinking in a case of emergency, 30 messages may not be enough with coordinating search and rescue and stuff.

I'll have to look back at my contract, but I believe they just charge you more. And I think the SOS feature is somewhat independent of the messaging. I'd have to check to be sure.

Nope. If you were really EAF you would have self recovered from that mud hole.

Colour matched armor is also -1 expo point as mentioned above.
