    Guys

I just ordered the ring and phone mount. In order to see how to install, there are some Vimeo clips which break things down quite nicely. All you need are some Allen wrenches and no more than 10-15 minutes of your time.

Workmanship and design are 1st rate and well thought through. It looks cool and very functional. One of the very best upgrades I did to my 2017, no regrets at all.

Thanks for the discount. Ordered! Does anyone know of any links to a magnetic type mount that I can stick on the ram ball? I have the magnetic plate in my case already and works fine now for basic use, plenty strong. Easy to just pop iPhone on and off.

Just bringing this thread back to attest that this mount is incredible and everything I imagined it to be. I will be ordering another one now since they offer a grip for tablets, as well as the CB holder. Rock solid, impressive, and quality made piece of equipment.

This looks like an awesome product! Been searching for a nice solution and I think I found the one. Suction cup and most other mounts get in the way when putting up the sun shade for the windshield so I'm excited to try this one out. Order placed!! Thanks @wileydavis

Got my mount, it is fantastic! It is in a whole different realm than the cheap suction cup type phone docks, sturdy and well made. Thanks!!

Hands down the best phone mount I've ever used. I'm very ocd when it comes to phone mounts and this one is absolutely perfect!! I was a bit hesitant with spending the extra money on a phone mount at first; but after reading all the good reviews on it I pulled the trigger anyway. I can honestly say I would buy this phone mount again.

    Pros:

Perfect solution for providing the perfect location for your phone
    Ease of adjustability
    Quality
    Ease of installation
Perfect for off-roading (phone stayed put through all the bumps)
Hondo Garage went above and beyond to personally email me to let me know the status of my order and asked if I needed it sooner.

    Cons:

    None

Just ordered! After researching mounting options, this looks to be the best choice.

Well just wanted to throw my mini review in here. Very solid mount. Stable and it does not move in less you want it to. I have never had such an over engineered phone mount. The vent mount is excellent quality and the anodizing is even and well finished.

Now the not so awesome part. The finishing on the ram ball mounts sucks. The powder coat or what ever the coating is was peeling off still in the package. Does it affect the functionality of the unit? No. But for such a costly phone mount it definitely detracts from the overall package. Additionally there has been a recent move away from a 4 hole ramball for the back of the perfect squeeze phone holder to a 2 hole ramball that mounts diagonally across the back of the mount leaving two holes unfilled. Again the mount still works very well from my use but it does detract from the overall product it looks like an afterthought or a cost cutting measure that just feels out of place on a 100+ dollar phone mount.

I will continue to use the product and I do feel that it is a very well engineered device barring the short comings listed above. If the coating continues coming off of the ramballs I will probably sand them and spray them with some black paint.

Overall I do recommend the product i have yet to find another mount quite so sturdy but I also feel that people dropping this much on a phone mount should have an honest reviewso they know the deficiencies as well.

We switched to the two-hole RAM ball mostly so that it would be compatible with our bar clamp for motorcycles which only has two holes. The two-hole works with everything whereas the 4-hole only works with some things. We left the four holes in so that folks with 4-hole bases could use them and so that it would be compatible with any other AMPS compatible mount. The two bases are the same price, so it wasn't a cost-saving measure. I'm toying with making our own articulating components to offer an option to the RAM stuff but it would be more expensive.

Thanks for the explanation. I am just giving some honest feedback and opinion/ perception. Perception=reality for most people. Awesome mount dawg!, High five doesn't really tell you much.

I think if you built your own articulation parts and they had the same QC as your vent mount and radio knobs it would really make for a killer unit. I am sure it would cost more but if you kept the pricing relatively close it would worth the added expense.

If MESO makes, I have it or am trying to get it!
Just dropped the $$ for a few Hondo Garage bits. Being Canadian sure sucks right now with the exchange. Just paid 29.78% more than USD to convert to Snow Pesos. :canada:

Can't wait for the mounts, knobs, cable and mic clips to get here. :playball:

Thanks for the TW Discount! Helped make the exchange hurt a bit less!

Will this fit a GPS unit such as the Garmin Oregon 600?

It will grip the 600 just fine. The 600 is about .5" taller than the gripper posts but we've had motorcycle folks use the Perfect Squeeze for that without issue.
