Looks to be leaking fluid behind my front drive shaft going to the front diff. Im guessimg a seal has gone bad and my main question is how anybody dealt with this before and can it be fixed from the outside of do i have to open the nack of the case out?? Doesnt seem to me like its comming out of the bottom of the t case. Looks like i caught it early

I recently moved and now my driveway has a slight slant to it and I noticed a small drip from the transfer case. I had always had oil similar to your picture. I believe this is the how too you are looking for, its on the list of things to do for me. For a 4 runner but should be generally the same. I have the part numbers here somewhere for the seals. I'll see if I can find them.

Nice. Thank you. Thought I was going to have to separate the transfer case from the trans or open up the transfer case. My driveshaft is already off too :)

I missed that the OP said front drive shaft when reading it. The link was to the rear but the front should be similar. I think there's a how-to floating around somewhere.
