On all fours finally! What a great feeling huh :D Ride height turned out great. You guys are building these rigs insanely low.

Dude, I had a knot on my stomach looking at that hi lift almost maxed out. Those things are scary and dangerous:eek:

Thanks man! But the high lift is solid. There is rubber and cork pad underneath it to keep it from sliding. Looking from the front it's perfectly vertical, from the side, it is angled a little under the truck tho to keep base under the point of contact with the vehicle. Probably safer than stacking blocks on a regular jack :D

It's so low, and with the stock wheel and small tire, most people wouldn't know it's SASed :D looks like just a mild lift if you don't see the pumpkin.

I actually...I wouldn't. It is impressive low, and I like how the rig turned out....but I wouldn't want my rig that low. At least not where I usually wheel in AZ. That low would cause me to drag the belly of the truck too much all over and getting stuck. But it all depends on the the places you wheel at.

    Good to know :D

It looks really good man. Like I said above, I wouldn't want mine that low based on the trails I wheel at back home, but your rig looks awesome. You are right, it is hard to tell you have a SAS; gotta love that factorish look.

Ik this is mostly about the front but i'm worried about the rear. If I could save costs on not throwing a new rear axle in I could probably take the easy route and run a pre-build Diamond up front. Y'all think I could get away with putting 5.29s and upgrading to chromos in my rear 8" and be ok with 37s? I'd never bounce it but I like to try a line a few times before I call it quits :D

Nothing wrong with a shit load of cutting and sitting on the bumps, especially if it's primarily a crawler

Nope. It's staying at that height. 20" belly with just over 4" of bump travel. Shit load of cutting is next, and welding in the cans for the 2" hydro bumps.

I wouldn't spend any money on the stock rear axle, chromos and what not. Just put that money towards a new axle. Do it once!

    Stock-ish
You'll be fine on the stock rear end. Toss 5.29's in it and wheel....Stock shafts are beef. If you ever decide to sell, you'll get most of your money back out of a 5.29 third.

That out-of-the-box 4 link kit that low range sells is so tempting, plus its already locked, would save some serious coin haha. Maybe i'll run it stock with 5.29s (got a labor hookup) 'till it blows up then dive into an FJ80 rear.

This is what i've been seeing in the research. Might say screw it and try it

I don't know that I'd call the stock shafts beef.
