Thanks bud. There will be more to come, but have to wait another month or so, in colorado, for the high country to melt. So more tails can open up.

He is alive! Lol ya I had a couple good trips. He is a great pup, but a pain in the but at times since he is 7 months old.

Fun weekend in the hills, did a 500 ft elevation gain 14er, couldn't get up the Griz for a third time, and got rained on.

What about the video of Brett and I skiing?

Hey everyone, thought I should give you all an update. So you all know I bought this half way through August.

    20170907_182348.jpg

Well two weeks after that I had a little accident on my dirt bike.

So because of this work on the truck has come to hault for now. So I am 7 weeks after surgery and the accident. I got the cast off on Tuesday. 6 weeks and 2 days after the surgery. I now have 11 screws, two plates, and two awsome scares in my arm.

So back to the truck. This winter I hope to put in some custom Alca leaf springs on my truck. Also need some front wheel bearings and have some rattles and vibes to track down.

Looks like there's about 800lbs difference in factory curb weight between the two trucks. And Leo doesn't have his skids on, so fairly close to the same amount of added weight.

Is there an accurate way to do that without a scale that measures the corners? :notsure:

I always just put the rear axle on the scale in a similar fashion to the way CDOT/State patrol measures big rigs. Subtract about 400lbs for tires/axle/spring (add more if tires are really heavy). That is what Alcan told me to do.

Now that you say that I kinda remember them saying that when I spoke with them in the spring. When I found out my springs were totally shot.

Ya it wasn't much of a difference.
