    Anyone know how the area is for jobs? (places that need engineers, real ones, not that software BS) Plenty of places around there that are R&D sites or large manufacturing sites?

    Knox is big for engineers. Denso in Alcoa, carlex has a glass plant in Vonore which isn't far from the area, plus oak ridge is there.
