I got better luck than Anyone!

Ain't had the new truck but 2 weeks and today a lady runs into the back of me at a red light while i have my kids in the backseat...

Then she says " i didn't see the light" ???

If you didn't see the light, the 15 other cars stopped at the light, or my black truck right in front of you.... You probably shouldn't be driving.

Luckily the kids are fine and only minor damage to the truck... But really?

My first 3rd gen was totaled because of a girl not paying attention... Before i made the first payment... Now again another wreck because of a lady not paying attention Before my first payment....

Is this a conspiracy??? Are women trying to pay me back for being so careless with "love" as a young adult??

You are probably at fault for disrupting the text she was typing. Sorry about your bad luck. As long as everyone is ok then it is only material. You should take everyone to a very expensive doctor or hospital to be checked out. And hire an attorney. Let her insurance make your next 24 payments on that truck. And depending on your med-care coverage on your own policy you can let them pay the bill and then recover 3x that amount in a settlement.

I won't go that far... The damage is minimal. A small hole in the plastic and the metal brace behind it is slightly bent.

I'm not above getting looked at by a doctor but i won't go after anything more than i deserve.

OK then settle for $10k and tell her how lucky she is. My God the kids will have to deal with that trauma for years to come.

I got my Avid front and rear bumper guards installed... FullSizeRender 2.jpgIMG_2882.jpg
I'm getting my "braces" off tomorrow. I hope the grille surround will clear the front guard. That was a real P.I.T.A. to install. Having the correct tool and a willing GF to hold everything is critical. No, that's not a double entendre.

    Might as well get dirty!!

This place is like 3 miles from my house, can only really play safely here during the day... At night there are parties quite often and people get pretty wild. I use to party here as a teen. Many memories of wrecking a 4 wheeler, running out of gas and having to push home, sleeping on the ground etc, LOL

Great pics but you did something "with" not "to" your third gen. They would be great posted here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/post-pic-of-your-3rd-gen-taco-w-a-scenic-background.414101/

Brakes replaced? Did you already wear through your pads at 15k? I'm going on 25k and still have plenty of pad remaining.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
They started squeaking real bad and became progressively harder to stop the vehicle, had plenty of "life" in them but were just not stoping the vehicle

So they swapped them and now the vehicle stops just like it should lol
