    Here you go. It's the 7806 model hoist which is rated for 200 lbs. the double hardware I am referring to are the large lag bolts that were used to attach the 2x6s to the ceiling rafters.

    So I just drilled holes in the aluminum rail and bought stainless steel hardware and aluminum flat bar. I'd say it's pretty easy if you're okay with drilling holes in the base of your tent. It shouldn't effect the structural integrity of the tent at all.

    Awesome! That's a good idea. Seems like it handles the weight no problem? I think I'm gonna order the hoist right now and grab extra hardware at the store. Gotta do some measuring first!
    Thanks!!:thumbsup::cheers:

    So here is something to watch out for. The block and tackle connect to a ceiling joist with an eye hook. I noticed it was coming out from where it was mounted. The installers are coming back to mount another 2x6 piece and a longer eyehook Through that piece and into the joist. Should provide more strength. I'm sooooooooo glad it didn't come lose since my truck was parked under the RTT and rack hoisted up

    Thanks:thumbsup:

    I'm cool with drilling a couple holes. I've done worse to my truck, so I'm not squeamish anymore lol

    I mounted mine in the top plate of a wall per the instructions. The is a large lateral load when mounted like you have it.

    Ha, guess someone should have read it lol. Thanks for the tip, there is plenty of length for me to mount it in a top plate. Makes a lot of sense now that you mention it

    I don't remember them being made out of Aluminum, I thought they were steel. How hard was it to switch the lights over to 12V?
