Watching an Eagles concert DVD and it just makes me sad that kids grow up these days without every dude on the block wanting to learn an instrument and start a band. Jamming it out in the garage. Going out in the desert and dropping acid and writing an album overnight.

You know Don Felder and Tom Petty and Duane Allman were all buddies in high school? Like that just doesn't happen now.

I'll be honest I drove a side by side today, if I had the money, that would without a doubt be my trail toy. Made shit my truck wouldve hated look like nothing.

 

There's no fun in that. I like technical challenging driving. Not slam the skinny pedal in a fancy 4wheeler and call it skill.

 

The difficulty of stuff you could take on would be undoubtly greater though.

 

I'm up for it. Just depends on the weekend it falls on.

You can buy a cheap 4wheeler for about 800 bucks, but there is no challenge in driving a dinky little vehicle through a trail. You could also build a pretty nice rock buggy for the price of a RZR.

 

It was a Yamaha so much less expensive, but I get y'alls point. I love wheeling In the truck, I was just saying how awesomely it handled everything

 

All my buddies have 20k+ in their rzrs and every time I hear them talking about going to ride they always break something or have to get them taken in under warranty for shit. Only reason I haven't gotten one. And for that money I'd honestly rather have a built 3rd gen 4Runner.

RZR 1000s are a blast. High clearance arms, mongrels and they are pretty much unstoppable. That is until you break axles and cv s one every trip.

 

I can tell you from personal experience that most automotive engineers couldnt turn a wrench let alone know what one is. Lol
