Ok for the folks that are interested how many would be ok with MINIMAL drilling. So far we only have ACCESS CAB in the r&d phase. We will soon have the double cab in the r&d phase and then a back glass panel as well... once I remove my back seats that will go into the r&d phase.

    For the back glass...

Would you guys want either side with the center glass open?

Forget the sliding window and make the entire window a mounting area?

    For the ACCESS CAB doors.

Will you want BOTH sides or just one side? If so which side?

Also what kind of weight will you guys be mounting? What things do you guys carry that you will want to store there?

I would say no drilling at all but again, that may be in a perfect world.

There is no way to mount it without drilling for access cabs. Not sure about double cabs or the back windows yet.

I can guarentee there will be some sort of deilling otherwise you will NOT be able touse them to hang things off of and they WILL rattle around and any movement is bad as they will scratch whatever surfaCe they are touching

I have a DC and would be okay with the way they appear to be mounted on the Cherokee. My concerns would be they were secure, has a clean looking installation and didn't affect the operation of the windows.

Why are you removing the panels from the doors Ryan? This product is currently in the building process!

As soon as we have one made we will be running a 5 batch GB. Not sure on price yet but it will be rather cheap compared to the cost of them afterward. No calling spots yet though. We will do it fair and square at a time when everyone is awake and ready to jump in. And depending on interest we may even extend the gb spot amount.

This is interesting. Would be nice to see double cab windows. With a full rear window mount, would you have some small opening to manually operate the sliding window?

Yes we would have a slot big enough to get some fingers in from side to side

Still wanna see some prototype pics and whatnot. Stuff like how it's gonna mount in our trucks, and obviously what it actually looks like on a tacoma...

Both Access Cab side windows for me.

I would be interested in two for a 2nd gen double cab. You could possibly do threaded inserts that way it was easily removable but still secure. You could do little plastic plugs to fill in the inserts when the window gaurd was not in place.
