Making me hungry just looking at the menu

 

Yup theyre damn good. Everytime i go see my dad i get up early and go sneak over to the store at clear lake, haha.

The local place up here may not be as good.

 

Ammonia terminal operator. I work rotating 12 hour shifts. Back on days tomorrow.

 

Last night here and then my "weekend" starts in the morning. Back for the 3 & 3 starting Friday.

 

i just got here also, day one of three

 

Well, my 3 day weekend is over. I'll be in for 1 of 5 in a couple hrs. Pretty low key Holliday.

 

good, feel like i am on a desert island..........alone

 

Was pretty slow last night too.

 

In like flint.

 

Almost halfway through the shift.

 

My body is still hurting from the weekends festivities. I dont want to work tonight

I've had to go back and look at that quote a few times at work this weekend. Don't know why, but I stress way more at work now in my 3rd year vs when I started on the job.

 

Can't say much about what goes on here at work....
Buttt......some of you might remember an incident about a machine coming loose from the floor a few weeks back.
Turns out the woman (60 yrs old, 4ft 9in who has zero mechanical ability) was removing a 4 ton part from a machine. She has other people do her work for her all the time. So she got someone to put the lifting fixture (30 lbs) in the part but did not unbolt the part from the machine.
Ripping 4 huge ass bolts out of the concrete sub flooring lifting it off with a 5 ton crane. Everything is tore apart right now and the company is having core samples sent out.
The estimated repair to get this back together is $50k. And yes....she still has her job.
