A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
First let me start out by saying this is a purpose built truck for what me and my wife love to do. Make memories!! We both share the passion for traveling, overlanding, camping, and Toyotas.
We became passionate a few years back with my 2007 Tacoma TRD Sport that we built for a 40 day cross country camping trip. We made many mistakes building this rig and learned/paid the price for it.

This thread is for the people who are new to "Overlanding" and have many concerns/questions. So feel free to ask any and all questions regarding my build. I may not have all the answers, but I can tell you where I failed in my first build.

I couldn't have done this build is it wasn't for the support from my wife and Sparks Parts(http://www.sparksparts.com/ ) of Myrtle Beach, SC. 90% of my aftermarket products were installed by Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach, SC.

    Lets Begin:

    Vehicle:
    • 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro (Cement)

    • National Luna Dual Battery Controls Flush

    • JL Audio W3 Sub, JL Audio Stealth Box, JL Audio 600 watt amp (Bass control knob located just left of steering wheel)
    • ARB Dual Air compressor/Front locker actuator mounted behind rear seat (drivers side)
    • Patches from all the places me and my wife have traveled adhered to the roof
    • Center console converted into Safe by Console Vault
    • Entire Cab has been Dynomatted...Roof, doors, floors, rear.. this was done to cut down on road noise from tires/roof rack and improve audio sound.
    • All interior lights have been converted to LEDs

    • ARB high mount differential breather kit

Very nice build! That's like a dream build.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you must be made of money. Or you are retardedly in debt.

Either way, nice truck. Enjoy it!

Strong work! Striving towards a similar build. Anymore info, and pics of your bed drawers would be appreciated.

Beautiful truck man! Can you post a pic of the trim work you did on the front to prevent rubbing? I have the same truck but kept the TRD wheels and added the 285/70's.

You made the best choice IMHO going with the cement gray. Literally the only reason I would trade in my 2nd gen OR for a 3rd gen PRO. Buuuuut I don't want to do that bad enough. I'm in love with your overland build though, nice work. Very clean.

P.S. 5 jobs between the 2 of you?! Holy fuck that's next level grinding. Props.

    As far as?

I can tell you a few things... to completely remove the headliner in the 3rd gems you have to remove the windshield. Don't cut within an inch of the Mts controls on the roof. All the wiring is run down the a post. I don't have a pics of that portion of the build though.
