I might get in on this... No expierence with lighting what so ever, but I want something better than stock, and don't really want LED's.

 

What year is your Tacoma?

There have been some fitment issues with the LED kits so to ensure proper fitment HID would be the way to go. HID kits would be brighter anyway and provide more light on the road vs the LED kits.

As for the install, they are designed to be plug n play so it's just a matter of getting your headlight bulbs and connecting the parts to each other. The only modification you may need to do is drill a hole in the dust cover if your vehicle has one but we provide a grommet to seal this hole.
