    Hey guys!! I hope this one isn't done to death because I cant find any comparisons on here as of yet...
    What are people running and which is better Firestone or Airlift for our trucks, I have a small lift block in the rear so I may need longer U bolts from what I see possibly...

    2013 TRD Sport DCSB 6sp Manual, towing a Travel trailer 3370 dry, maybe 4000/4200 max loaded

    Any input or experiences or a link to a thread would be great!!

    I've had Firestone Ride-Rites for about six years with no complaints. Get the Daystar Cradles if you go that route.

    Benefit of the daystar cradles? to stop pinching/leaking when running no pressure? just better than what comes with the firstone kit? or it just sits on the bracket?

    You still need to keep some pressure in them. The cradle allows you to run the bags without them bolted to the axle. Even stock suspension flexes down more than the air bags will allow. With the cradles, the bag lifts right off the axle when you flex an the cradle holds the bag in place when it comes back in contact with the axle - keeping it centered, more or less. My bags aren't perfectly centered in the cradles. I'm not worried. Even if one eventually chafes and pops, it won't be a catastrophe.

    Ordered up Firestone bags and a wireless controlled compressor to go with it as well as the cradles just for fun haha...

    Trailer sagged me pretty good on the weekend and I could use the help...

    anyone find that when they have their WD hitch too tight (4 links) you get a lot of porpoising? or at least weird motion that can make people in the truck feel sick

    put it back down to 3 and was much smoother...

    Well air bags, cradles and compressor are all installed, and helped huge with towing my TT this past weekend... what a difference it makes!!
    Recommend it to anyone, only regret was not doing it sooner!!

    It's a Sportzman KZ 242BHS - Dry weight is 4350lbs - total length is 26.5' - load weight with our equipment is 5500lbs +/- depending on how long we are camping for - Gross weight of the trailer is 6400lbs - I never tow the TT with any of the tanks full. Tow's like a dream, taking a trip 1st week of August to Bar Harbor Maine, for the week, about an 7 hour ride..a lot of hills too...can't wait.

    Oh wow, mines is 3370 dry, so loaded and full tanks possibly around 4500? and I wouldn't say the Taco struggles, but damn I wouldn't want to tow anything more than that... haha
    hoping the S/C helps with that
