gorilla glue and then use a soldering gun to melt the plastic (just like if you were soldering regularly)

    None.
Does the gorilla glue need to be wet while soldering it? I'm assuming the plastic melt and then the glue makes it's way into the crevices. Otherwise, I can't see just melting the plastic causing it to weld properly.

This is the proper adhesive to use.

(I realize this is an old thread, but if anybody goes searching for how to fix broken tabs, this is it.)

Superglue then sprinkle baking soda over the glue, will dry and harden fast.

Anyone else break headlights at this point? I broke all 4 tabs. Tried to fix them with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HX704NG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

but it didn't end up working. Trying to figure out what to do at this point with some new headlights. If anyone has some for sale and in socal please lmk.

I realize this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone else ran into this and has implemented a fix that has lasted? I was going to try some JB Plastic Weld but wanted to check the masses first.

Get some thin aluminum and use JB weld to make a sandwich of the original part, reinforced with a cut-to-fit aluminum reinforcement. Better than stock.
