    yesterday I posted a thread with an announcement of a recall for 2016-2017 models for stalling issues. Within a couple hours the thread had been locked and no further posts allowed.

    Why?

    On other boards I frequent the Moderators would state to use the existing thread and post a link to it then lock the thread. I think this would be very helpful here to reduce the redundant threads.
