Tacomas of all generations are a dime a dozen here in Phoenix. Now pull into gas station with my 1968 GTO and I get people taking pictures and asking questions, telling stories about the car they should have never got rid of yadda yadda

It's surprising because in real life I can't find any of the hate or disappointment. There's probably a ton of conversation to be had about that, how and why there is such a differential between the internet world and the real world, but I'm not that guy, I don't have the attention span. Just sayin I've been waiting to explain to someone curious about the terrible rep that is brewing on the 3rd gens, but no one is coming at me from that angle.

I bought my 2016 around a month ago. There is a vibration that is on tempo of around every 2 seconds at 55+ miles an hour. I inquired to my wife and she doesn't notice it as a passenger. I can feel it through the steering wheel. It cannot be tranny or differential. There are toyo A30 open country tires on the truck. Don't know if they are factory or not. I like the idea of getting an alignment before I take this thing back to the dealer.

As a "bullet dodger" with a "known issue" free 2017, maybe I should start one. I did have a BSM sensor go bad (that was fixed immediately) so maybe I'm not immune after all! THE PLAGUE OF THE TACO HAS COME FOR ME

Haha It's like driving a motorcycle. It's not a matter of if you go down, but when. Literally waited and read up for a year before pulling the trigger. Test drove 2 different MT with issues getting into gear, a couple with vibes. Scary stuff if you're not in the know. Drove 8 before I bought mine. All 2017 in MT

Yes get an alignment.. and don't go for anything under 100 bucks. They will throw it on the rack, look a the toe and say it's good.. find a reputable Indy shop and explain exactly what your issue is.. be prepared to pay for his time and opinion!

    This thread is stupid.

Its similar to asking, "What am I not going to like about my dinner tonight?".

Everyone at the table may have a different opinion.

I've had mine for a couple of months and I love everything about it.

Some people like to complain. I love the posters who dont own a 3rd gen and still talking down about it due to some report they read.

I see a lot of people here talk down on other auto manufacturers without owning one. Not really any different?
