Disc golf

I broke my leg in February other wise I'd have been playing. This event did however allow me to save on gas by carpooling which got invested in new discs for the summer. Bought some mcpro aviars, and some of my favorite molds on champion plastic. Gstar is great when it's cold but I prefer champion in the warmer summer months

One of the things I like best about G☆ is that it doesn't take forever to season a more OS mold in Champion plastics. It seems to fly about as well as Pro or DX but lasts a lot longer at holding flight characteristics.

 

Yeah I agree but in the warmer summer months it feels flexy

 

Some for me some for my girl. Just got news that im moving into a splint and out of a walking boot. These will be thrown this weekend

 

^ Is that pink a Teebird or firebird? On my phone hard to read the stamp. Let me know how that Leopard 3 flies, my TB3s fly a tick faster but just flat ass DUMP like a brick when they are near the end of a typical TB3 flight...strange to watch. You expect a little low speed glide and it looks like someone just shot it out of it's flight.

 

My gstar t3 has a nice bounce most the time. This is a tee bird. I'll update after throwing aime

I got out and played 2 full rounds at Vista Del Camino yesterday in south Scottsdale. Nice 104 degree day, but we had a great time. I picked up 3 new drivers and all are performing quite well. I'm a sucker for the old soft plastics, especially the Valkyrie in about a 165g weight. I picked up a 147g Valkyrie and it turns over like a dream and gets a great S flight. My short game was on point last weekend and I was drilling 20 footers over and over. My approach game SUCKED though, which used to be my strong point.

A few weeks ago my gf(at the time. As of this past Sunday she's now my fiance) and I played a course in North Georgia called Disc Lula. Signature hole is in a old chicken coop! Definitely a fun course!

We also played in our first tournament about a month ago as a doubles team! It monsooned. We did bad haha. But took best team name 'She's got a big Putt'

Was going to take the day off from golf but the guys are pressuring me to play

Mtns are melting...we played the ghost town course in Central City last weekend. It's laid through an abandoned mine town and a cool escape from the heat in the city
