Here's the new truck next to my 4runner. Took the brush guard off and swapped the stereos around. Put the 4" touchscreen into the Tacoma since I'll be selling the 4runner.

Washed the beast and reconditioned the fender flares using Mothers back to black. What's everyone use on their flares to keep em nice and shiny black?

IMG_1790.jpg IMG_1789.jpg IMG_1793.jpg Detailed the inside today. Previous owner had a lot of grease and grime built up on the seats. The heavy duty carpet cleaner from turtle wax did wonders! It's like a brand new truck.

IMG_1798.jpg IMG_1797.jpg Me and my buddy took the steering column out of the truck today and welded a few tacs onto the slip joint. The steering had a little slop in it before, especially at freeway speeds and on s corners. All fixed now!

Tried to make it up to Blue Lake this last weekend. Still a little bit to much snow to make it to the trail head. I probably could have made it in my 4runner but not in this cute little pickup.
    IMG_1823.jpg
The snow was much higher then this picture haha.

And the weekend before last I took her over the north cascades into Winthrop.

Got my leds in the dash and climate control yesterday. Took out that pesky flashing seatbelt bulb also. (I always wear my seatbelt on the road it's just annoying when I'm going down logging roads and the damn thing is flashing at me). I'm going to need to get the 4runner climate control panel, I'm not digging the pinkish orange haha.
    IMG_1837.jpg IMG_1838.jpg IMG_1840.jpg

Also I found a time stamp on the back of my clock. First time I've found one of those in a Taco.

Not quite Tacoma related but I took my old Chev out of the shed today and got her all cleaned up. My first truck I got when I was 17.

Finally got the new shocks and FJ coils installed tonight. I was kind of weary to put the coils in because I've never heard of anyone doing it before but they worked really good. Gave me about 1.5-2" lift in the front.

Air bags and frame reinforcements went on the other day. Getting ready for hunting season with the camper. My buddy did all the welding for me. Also put on a front hitch so I can haul my motorcycle with the camper.

Also blew out a tire while I was out in the hills in Idaho. Tires were pretty bad so I stole my 4runners set up. IMG_2089.jpgIMG_2092.jpgIMG_2096.jpg

Added a aux fuse panel today from stuff I had laying around the house. Mounted it on some bent stainless to match the contour of the fender. 197044A3-9BC7-472D-ACCA-9AA8FD93CF30.jpg3CA98DCE-398F-4C38-8BB4-37C153420506.jpg3E608A54-27C5-469F-81B0-F9FDC0423B13.jpg
