So i hit a dog and now my dog lights aren't working. Anyone have a clue what may have caused this. I checked everything I can possibly check without taking off anything. All connections are good. Bulbs are good. I hit the poor dog on my passenger side.

In all honesty pull the socket off the bulb and check for power and ground. If you don't have power check the fuse

Yep, a lift would have prevented this.

@uurx it was a German Shepherd. It knocked my FOG light loose. I fixed that. I just couldn't get them to work.

Sounds horrible...for you and the dog.
I'd check the wiring harness, IIRC, they do join up somewhere. Interesting both would go out at the same time.. How impactful was the hit? Maybe your switch disconnected or like been suggested before, you blew the fuse.

Well maybe if you had your dog lights on you would have seen him.

    Sorry man. Had too.
Sorry you hit the dog. Bad situation.

As stated check fuse then check with a voltage meter for power.

Definitely check the fuse. Impact could have caused a momentary short some where.

The dog was ok for the most part. I hit his ass end. Going about 25-30. I checked the fuse. It seems to be in good shape. Where can I find the ground?

I also tried to install hid fog lights (full kit) with relay harness. That didn't work. The fuse is good.

Sounds like you nocked the lights out of the dog as well.

Did you bother checking his lights?
