also FYI if you use the higher strength peroxide use good rubber gloves. It will burn your skin otherwise.

yeah the 3% is usually pretty cheap at walmart. Just dump a couple big bottles of it in slosh it around and let it sit for a while...

Wash it then just keep burning it off. My tank was new and failed pressure test. Huge score! Tank is the hardest part. You going reverse flow? If not I would strongly suggest it. It runs like a Swiss watch

Building a rig isn't as hard as you think. I can help you crunch the numbers. It is easier than you think. If you can weld and torch, you can do it

Looks good so far! Good job with a cutting wheel! good thing with something like that is you can always grind down the welds and fill in where needed then paint it over ;) Inside doesnt really matter so much, so long as the weld hold, its prob only going to need a couple tack welds to hold supports for the racks inside anyhow.

    Heck Yeah. Nice pit build.

I plan to build a reverse flow smoker later this year.

Thanks! I really like the reverse flow design now that we've used it, both sides are always within 25 degrees and seems to not use much wood at all. Your gonna really like it when u get it built. I also built a normal offset smoker with a friend for his dad for Father's Day. He likes snap on so I added that extra touch on the doors. IMG_0555.jpg
