    @Blackout14

    I've also noticed that my ball joint boot doesn't totally cover the back of the ball joint. Anyone else have this issue? Also, I torqued the nyloc nut to the JBA recommended 45lb/ft but it seems like it should be tighter. Would there be any concerns/issues with doing this? i.e. the nut being strong enough.

    That may be the case. I'm lowering it today because it's way too high. May even go down to the 2nd notch since those 650# springs are holding the weight really well.

    Do the Eibach springs add lift or they just for weight?

    They were for the up coming extra weight but they did add lift too since they are stiffer.

    Dropped them down to the 2nd notch and things are looking damn good so far. Am leaving soon for an alignment so I'll try to get some pictures when I get back.

    Looks so much better with the front lowered. Sloped parking lot.

    3.15 and 3.24 for caster...toe and camber as close to 0 as the tech could do.

    I noticed the other day that my passenger tire is rubbing my mudflap (standard RokBlokz flaps) when the wheel is turned about half way and the suspension compresses slightly (i.e. when I drive up the curb onto my driveway). It did not do this before and am hoping that nothing is loose under the truck to cause the wheel to move rearwards. I quickly checked the LCA cam bolts and they seem to be tight. The truck drives as it did just fresh out of the alignment shop.

    I also noticed that the passenger front tire is noticeably closer to the cab of the truck than the driver side. This is weird because pre suspension I had the opposite happen (driver side rubbed) when I put on my 1" BORA spacers. With the extra lift, JBA UCAs and 3.1 and 3.2 caster there shouldn't be any rubbing, should there? This worries me some because when I put on my 255/80R17 tires next year they will probably rub much worse and losing the mudflaps is not an option.

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    Just got my UCAs on. Liking the product, must say I'm disappointed in the instructions, or lack there of, that came with the UCAs.

    I'm still not sure whether they're installed correctly. I got the STD high UCAs and they come with a washer and nylon lock nut, so you don't reuse your castle nut when attaching to spindle. One would assume that the washer would go before the nut, but haven't seen a single picture online to confirm that. All the pictures look completely different than mine. I plan on calling today, but as luck would have it, I installed during their closed hours, so quite frusterating. A schematic showing nut and bolt location and a simple picture of finished product comes in even a $15 Walmart shelf.

    You don't refuse the castle nut. The washer goes between the rubber boot of the ball joint and the spindle. It serves as a seal for the grease in the ball joint.

    Yep, found a few pics like that, which confused me. Yours looks like a spacer, about 3x thicker than my washer, and reused the castle nut. Mine had a normal washer and nylon lock nut. Wish the instructions were a little better.

    That's the kind of stuff that will turn me away from future purchases, and lose a recommendation.

    I initially installed it wrong the way at first. Took everything apart and put the washer between the BJ boot and spindle. I added an additional washer between the nylock nut and spindle as well.

    That looks good....what did you torque that nut to? Mine doesn't have nearly as many threads showing as yours does. FYI- mine is torqued to 45lb/ft per the JBA instructions. I want to do it tighter to the 81lb/ft of the factory nut.

    By all means I'm not an expert but if it were me, I would always do at least the factory torque specs at minimum and if the aftermarket company has a higher one then I would use theirs. Just my $.02
