If worst comes to worst, I don't mind meticulous work. I'll just apply doubled sided tape to the tire, throw a painters tarp over the tire and exacto blade out the section around the tire carefully, put a piece of cardboard in the center of the wheel and painters tape off the majority of the wheel around the bolts. The trick to plastidip is you have to apply several layers in order for it to be able to be removed easily at a later date. Like 8 coats and a 50% transparency on the first coat.

Post a pic up if you do the mod, would like to see how it comes out. I'm not sure if that center cap is a solid section though. I think it feels like if you were to cut into it there would be 2 different pieces of plastic vs a solid single piece.

The bolts are M8 x 1.25, 7mm long. I would try a M8 x 1.25, 5mm long so you can remove washer. I couldn't find short enough, smallest was 16mm long. Gonna see if a M8 grub/set screw will work, there usually on short side.

Took em all off, and was able to experiment with one for a bit before the kids woke up, but anyway here's what I did and the plan is to either get a sheet of steel and or plastic, cut it to size and maybe epoxy it flush to the hub
This was just a rough cut

Are you going to torque at all? I know I saw a video for methods bead locks there were 20ftlbs for the bolts. Obviously that's for an actual headlock though.

Perhaps snug enough by hand when I get to that stage. Also, Loctite 242 threadlocker. The MRW bolt had threadlocker.

The Method NV center caps are the absolute worst. Soooooo much better and aggressive looking without them.

    Hardcore off road floor mats!
Anyone have black TRD rims on their magnetic gray Taco? Trying to decide if they would be good or not? I'm not a big fan of the recent 'Black out everything' fad. Looks dumb to me.

    Rims in question...
