I don't get the whole "no clock, no temp" thing. The Entune system has a clock and a Weather Channel app....at least my '15 system does (no navigation). Just configure your home page to show the time and temp. It's not difficult. And for those that think a real time temp sensor is more accurate? I say no way. Outside temp sensors are notorious for being inaccurate by up to several degrees. By their location alone it can be difficult to measure true ambient air temp. My weather app rarely goes more than 20 minutes between updates. And that info is relayed from wherever the official monitoring station in your particular city is. My my case, the airport. I trust it.

Not just you. If the downshifts were predictable I wouldn't complain. But they're not. My passengers think I don't know how to brake. I'm going to put a 4th brake light inside just to show them it's not me.

The last year of a model generation is popular because of the theory that auto manufacturers are supposed to have fixed all the issues found with earlier models. You would hope the last year model is flawless before they move to another generation. Another example of this is waiting a couple of years after a new gen comes out to give the manufacturer time to sort the bugs out.

but IMHO the temp thing is useless - it is off a few degrees - and of what need or use is that information?

My 08 has 7 years on your 15's, and has proven itself to be a solid truck

 

I chose my 13 limited over a 14 sr5. Navigation and better stereo system. This was after a 3 hr test drive in a 2016.

 

Yeah I hope I feel the same way about my 15 in 5 years.

 

Example: I frequent Big Bear here in California. When I use the weather app, it pulls data from San Bernadino which is the nearest large city. Problem is, Big Bear is 7,000' higher in elevation so the temps aren't even remotely close. Installing a Gentex mirror is temp is one of the best mods I've done
