I looked there first.

@JWROSE4 does that thing kick on when you are in there or do you keep it off through a breaker? Any heat issues behind there? Guessing you used like 6 or 8 gauge wire for that kind of run and amp draw?

 

I used the wiring harness that it came with just had to lengthen it. I believe I added about 5-6 ft. The 2 reds are 10 and the black ground is 8. I have it on a switch and only turn it on when I need it. Because I have the tank it will shut off when the tank gets full. I dont run it for long periods at a time so no heat issues so far. I just keep stuff that is behind the seat away from it so there is air flow. If I know Im gonna use it for a while I figure I will just put the seat forward. Down the road when I get lockers the tank should be enough to keep it from coming on.

 

you have it running through the firewall or out the air gap in the back wall? I was debating on the tank.

 

the tank is necessary if you want to run air tools. If not, its not really needed. Right @Arcticelf ?
