For the last several months I have been having issues with my radio and it appears to be getting worse.

Vehicle is 2012, non JBL. When I turn on my vehicle, the radio will be dead, no lights, no sound, nothing. Sometimes after maybe 15-20 minutes or after I turn off the vehicle, wait then turn it back on, I'll have a high pitch screech for both am/fm, CD player will be heavy static and unlistenable then XM radio (don't have paid subscription it is the preview channel) will be heavy static but you can somewhat hear music. Bluetooth phone won't work. Again shut off the vehicle, wait some time and turn on the truck and everything works fine.

Sat the beginning this happened once in a blue moon, now it is getting to the point where I wonder every time I get in my truck if the radio is going to work. It's highly annoying. I have a vacation round trip coming up and don't want to deal with a faulty radio.

Anyone hear of this issue? Is it time to replace the radio or any other fix known? I apprecaite the assistance.

Heard it could be a ground issue. Any thoughts? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you think it could be a ground issue, run a new ground wire and tap it to the radios ground. But you also have to make sure its getting + power(check the fuses/check power when the key is on).
