If I am not mistaken the Cooper ATW has replaced the AT3. I could be wrong but after a lot of research and considering the winters we have where I live I just bought a set of ATW's about 3 months ago. Haven't been through a winter yet but caught the tail end of ours here. So far? I love 'em. They do attract lots of little stone in the tread if you drive in a lot of rocky terrain. So far, no problems in the wet, wet snow (slush) or off-road. Haven't tried them in the mud yet and hope I never do but it will be inevitable. I try to stay out of mud for numerous reasons, unfortunately, "mud happens". After all the good reviews that I read on the ATW it wasn't until I saw a review on "Expedition Portal" where they liked them that I decided to buy them. Those guy's/gal's on Expedition Portal travel the globe so if they are good enough for them in the first part of the test they are probably good enough for me year round. Even where I live. Expedition Portal was still testing them from what the article I read was saying. It was what they already said that sold me.

    We'll see.
