Too poor to list anything interesting.
I use it every week. I enjoy prepping food and then tossing it in the freezer to use later. Especially helpful on good meat deals. I've also sealed up a Thanksgiving dinner and ate it on New Years. It's highly useful around the kitchen.

I just bought one last week because I just started down the smoking meat rabbit hole. Definitely worth it...the plastic rolls go fast though!

I use it all the time, wouldn't be without it. Leftovers are completely different (better), meat sales can be taken advantage of better, etc. Last night I grilled a ribeye, vac sealed it, and put it in fridge. Tonight I'l boil that bag to reheat, should be good as fresh off grill (almost).

That's for that link... I've been putting a bunch of vac bags in my cart to research. Plan on buying both bags and rolls to keep a variety on hand.

That brand has never let me down, Ive bought multiple times from them. Solid. Maybe / probably even better than OEM.

Once you have a smoker, some fuel, and some good rub, the vacuum sealer is one of the next must haves! It is nice to be able to smoke a full packer brisket for just two people and it not be a waste.

Another option for bags is to buy in a roll:

Yeah, I frequently slice up a brisket and put single serve portions in vac bags, then reheat on dashboard on long road trips. Works great!

Man I can't wait to try this on some venison. My wife also got me a big green egg for our anniversary yesterday. I am interested to see if it's worth the cost.

Nice, mine came with the upper grate. I added the front shelf to it this year. Been getting a LOT of use out of it.

It's worth it. As mentioned below, when meat goes on sale, you can buy a lot, seal it and freeze it. Now, you'll need buy a dedicated freezer! Continue down that hole!!

Love mine. Bought a mid range unit years ago and it's still chugging along. Packing 10lbs of bacon tonight.
    Save for later

Joining the club on we use ours ALL the time. I think I'm on my third one at this point. They last a long time, first one we upgraded and gave the old one away, second one got put in storage too long and not used and more than likely got REALLY cold. Messed up the seals so instead of tearing it apart to fix decided to use the chance to upgrade again. New one takes up less space and seems to be faster in the vacuum portion.

We buy our meat in bulk and divide it up then seal it. Paid for itself right there.

Which one do you have now? There are several out there, and Costco has had some but not sure of brand vs. quality.

I have the rolls but hardly ever use them... sounded good in theory but in reality I just wanna grab a bag and get to sealing without worrying about creating one. Not very thrifty, but there you have it.
