They should open up a few acres of the motocross track for 4 wheeling

Probably sell it for lots. There's a bunch of properties in front of it and to the west of it that are all empty lots for sale. Some Ag, some residential, but it seems like they're gonna build up Kahuku.

Kuhuku Motocross track is constantly battling with the military over keeping it open. A lot of it stems from idiots going outside of the perimeter fence. A lot of people would be pissed off if they opened the track to trucks.

Funny you say that, because there is an area on that side that may become available for a while. It's still in the works.

I wonder if it'll open before my truck is done. The way things work in hawaii, I have a pretty good chance at finishing the truck first! :D

You should have seen my work place on Thursday if you wanted muddy. The field trucks couldn't pass thru that muck, even with chains on the tires. Fun day of mudding with 15k lbs trucks.

I was wondering if there were trails wide enough for trucks up there, but when you mention the track, that would be insane! I'm know there are some LT trucks lurking out here.
I didn't know that they had issues there. After losing HRP, it would be a shame if they lost Kahuku too.

I wasn't thinking the track itself, but just that it's a large offroad area that's already filled with noise pollution. The surrounding areas are wide open as well (in terms of development), but you're right that the military take preference and runs the show.

They could throw us a bone considering I have to listen to small arms fire all night long.
