They are both the same length and 30 spline.

The differences are the bearings and all elocker housings have abs in them even if the truck doesn't have abs. That said you don't need to put the tone rings back in when you rebuild it.

And as long as you're not a moron with the throttle and bouncing. 37s will be okay. Just be gentle haha

Only have a few hundred miles on them so far, but no complaints from shipping, quality or anything. Extended boots look good too.

The two inner rails closer to the console bolted right up.

The two on the outer side required the fanagling. The rear one 'almost' lined up, but the original seat had a rubber spacer. So I threw some washers in there and just kinda muscled it til the hole lined up.

The front one needed a little more... I cut along the red line there and then used a hammer to bend the loop down. Both the passenger and driver side were the exact same, just mirrored.

Thanks Monte. Still think I'll try to pick up a spare stock shaft just in case till I can afford rear chromoly shafts.

Yep. Direct plug in for the most part. Wire taps for the LEDs turn signal and parking lights. Resistor for the spare headlight plug so the High Beam indicator works properly.

Well the first one I got from ebay burned up. I don't see the one I ordered that has lasted me the last couple of years. If I had to order again I would probably start with a VLED module for safety. Otherwise here is a cheap one from ebay.

Couldn't get the photo links to work on mobile when I posted last week. I finally got the box on with all of Eric's steel plus the shock relocate plus VLED tail lights and Logan's projectors. Maybe a couple of duplicates from the past few weeks.

Nice! Are you running wheel spacers in the rear? What size shock 2.0? Any closeups or a build thread that I may have missed? Thanks.

I'm bet it's pretty cool. Is it worth what he's asking? Honest question that I think I know the answer to.

30,000 is pretty steep. Still an old truck with a small motor and small axles on leaf springs. I wouldn't pay that much. Probably close to what he has into it. Can find cheaper ones so I don't see it selling. On average. Sasd tacomas go anywhere from 14k-20k that are clean with a straight body.

Of course saying that is probably close to what I would ask for knowing what I have into mine. :luvya:

And then you can find 80s and 90s Toyota's with a straight body and lockers and 37s for less than 10k.

I have no doubt that it's capable. I figure the price was along that line or the hope a wealthy oilfield guy wanted to get into crawling.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
He must not know much about it if he says there's a 3RZ in there. I can't imagine one going out of their way to swap a less powerful and reliable engine in place of a more powerful and very reliable engine which is the 5VZE.

It started life as a 4 door auto prerunner. The base engine in this is the 3rz.
