This is the only place close that list any openings. I live within 45 mins and know people in the area I will ask around for and send you a pm with any more finds.
If can tell me what you are looking for would help too and price point.

Frame has rusted through on my 2004 Tacoma Double Cab any shops that do frame repair in Wisconsin - recommendations?

I inspected the frame before the I bought the truck in January of 2016 and it seemed solid to me. This last winter I wire brushed and treated any visible rust. Too little too late as on the drivers side I was able to poke a hole into the frame.

This spot is well in front of the driver side right about at the front edge of the gas tank - on the other side of the cross member (going to the front of the truck) everything is solid as you wrap on it with a hammer. Another 4 inches along the center of the crossmember it all feels weak going back to the rear wheel.

I checked with Toyota when I bought the truck to find out if it had been coated and any possibility on the warranty but they say it was never returned or treated - it annoys me when they do the recalls on the minor stuff like the tire carrier and then just leave this go.

Does anyone know of "frame repair" specialists in the Madison area or in Wisconsin that I could take the truck too? Really looks like the frame could be saved with a safe-t-cap kit but no certified dealers in Wisconsin
    http://www.autorust.com/product-category/toyota-tacoma/tacoma-safetcap-chart/

Also how worried should I be driving the truck? The top and bottom seem good and the outside is very solid -- just this spot running along the inside of the frame.

I don't have the shop or tools to remove the bed, and do any repairs myself.

    Thanks - Bob

Though back by the shock and the area forward it all seems solid.

I cant help you find a shop in WI but i can off some advice. The inside wall is thinner than the rest of the frame so it tends to rust through first. The rest of the frame may or may not be fine. Get under there with a hammer to find soft or weak spots. Get any bad spot repaired all at once. Near the spring hangers is a common spot. If you can't get it repaired right away get it treated with something like FluidFilm or an undercoating until you can. Hunt around on this forum and you will find severial folks that have gone through frame rot repairs, lots of good info... Good luck!

Didn't even realize my home state had a thread. Been in AZ for 2 years now, for military. Should be driving this back in August.

FYI for anyone who is interested J&L 4WD in Madison does frame repair with saf-t-cap products. Their experience is mostly with Jeeps, but they have a few toyotas under their belt. I am ordering the parts to saf-t-cap two sections of the frame on the driver side. Will update once the work is completed.

Does anyone know someone that builds garages near the New Richmond area? I'm building a new house, but don't really like the price the builder has for a garage. Looking for someone that can do it hopefully for less.

Sounds cool, we already took off in September to go to the dunes, but I'll ck, keep us updated...

I'm going to plan a TWAT (trans WI adventure trail) run for next year. Didn't work out this year...
I think the trail really starts in Black water falls and up to the Apostle Islands...
