After a year of collecting parts and getting everything together I finally made time to go over to the hobby shop and install my lift. I couldn't find my leaf spring tie bolts so I still have to go pick up some today and I also need to pick up more wire to run to my compressor that's mounted in the bed. I also need to find time to add the passenger floor mat clips so it doesn't move anymore. It was nice getting back and driving my truck again after being deployed for a couple months. I have been paranoid about getting back here after four months of being away and seeing all the negative posts and fear mongering on this forum but after going to the hobby shop yesterday and getting my truck on the lift and seeing I don't have a leak on my rear diff and my truck has been running awesome I feel much better. The only recall that I am apart of is the rear diff but I do t a a leak so I'm not worried and my transmission and engine feel good so not worried about those either. I'm very happy with my truck and loving it even more with the new OME lift that I put on yesterday and the new in channel AVS vent visors.

The front is OME 888 with the sport shocks. The rear is Firestone ride-rite's and Wednesday i will be going back to the hobby shop and installing the add-a-leaf springs and wiring up my compressor.

I love the way the OME suspension rides. It a little stiffer than the stock sport suspension and feels more like a truck now instead of an old ladies car. Looking forward to installing the add-a-leafs on the back and getting a little rake.

I'm headed back to the hobby shop to install the add-a-leaf and also wire up the ride-rites.

Before installing the lift i had a slight vibration in the steering wheel that i figured was due to the mud tires that i put on but after installing the lift the steering is a lot smoother and the vibration is now gone. Not sure what it was but it feels a lot better now.
