It's amazing to see new mod ideas 7 years after the 2nd gen's introduction. I notice quite a bit of dampness in my bed too. Thankfully the bed isn't steel, else it would probably start rusting within a year.

This thread has been silent for a while, but I'm new here (been a member since '08, but sold my Tacoma in '11 and got a Tundra, and just traded that one for another Taco), so am just getting to know my truck which I just picked up today. Anyway, I had a tri-fold tonneau cover on my Tundra and really liked having it. My truck lives outside, not in a garage, and where I live we have lots of leaves falling during the autumn, and snow in the winter, and I hate having to keep cleaning out the bed, plus it is handy to have (more or less) dry, secure storage back there. So I am already looking at getting another tri-fold cover for this truck. I don't typcially keep gear back there, but at times I do and I have noticed how it can get damp. This is a good idea. I don't know whether I'll do it to mine, but life circumstances can change and it's a good thought to keep in mind. Thanks!
