And I thank you for doing this group buy. I have admired your work from afar. I can't wait to get them installed.

I got mine the week of the 24th. Was only home for 1 day before heading back out and haven't been home yet to take pics or install.... They look great. Can't wait to paint them up and get them mounted.

 Lookin good! Can't wait to see that swing out when you get it finished.

Mine came in today. The plate looks good, the slots and holes are well formed. Quality stuff Ryan!!

Just a note for everyone, the edges are sharp so you may consider a small deburr radius on all the edges with a flap disc or similar before you paint or coat them. The coating won't chip and peel as bad if the edges rounded.

Now it's time to fit up the skid plates and get those on. I think I'm going to do something different with the mounting bolts that are self tapping. I may just weld a small bracket to the frame, modify the skid bolt location and bolt to that. Still kicking around ideas.

Ryan, have you had good luck with any specific studs or other mounting options?

    Good tip on the edges....thanks.

I was planning on using rivnuts to install my t-case skid. I used them for my front skid on my new addicted cross member for the bumper. Worked great

I'm going with rivnuts as well. The self tappers stripped out way too easily for me.

I've never had an issue with the self tappers as long as you don't overdo it tightening them, so that's all I've ever used. I bent up my transfer case skid on rocks and never had a self tapped failure. Rivnuts seem nice though.

Good to know, maybe I'll try that first. Rivnuts seem like they could be used if there was a failure on the self tappers.

Yes it was taped on the inside of the front flange. I don't have any extra so it was there at one point.

Mine was there when they showed up, Josh. I can get you a list of the various bolts and stuff if you need it.

I'll be installing my gas tank skid this week.

Anything in particular to watch out for, or is it pretty straightforward?

    Thanks!

Hiya @RAT PRODUCTS :D Do you have any first gen DC gas tank skids in stock or in the works? First time looking at your stuff. I like that the skids don't have holes in them like another design I was looking at.

    TIA
