I just purchased and installed the OEM mini header on my 2000 Tacoma 3rz. I'm considering upgrading to the NWOR header and wanted to test the waters for selling this OEM header. I painted it with VHT Flame silver to keep it from rusting and it will come in the OEM box. Looking for $160 shipped. Any interest?

Does it have CARB certification and provisions for the EGR? I'd be interested but I still have to pass California's anal SMOG tests.

Wait, you mentioned this is OEM. Is this the stock header that comes on the truck?

It's a stock part, it won't have CARB certs stamped on it because it came stock on 01-04 4cyl Tacos. But it does have the EGR pipe flange.

I totally forgot this was OEM. What's the difference between the stock header on my '98 3RZ?

Yours is cast iron and prone to heat stress and cracking as well as inferior flow. This is tubular steel header and actually quite good flow wise. Only bummer is it still uses the double seal collector that likes to leak. But that can be remedied easily. You put the stock heat shield on this and the SMOG tech won't look twice.

To clarify, this header is off my truck and I have the NWOR header on now. If I had it to do over again, I would have left this OEM header on because the NWOR header has provided me with very little gain over this OEM header. I've had a few offers for $150 shipped but its going to cost me at least $10-15 to ship this thing so I'm really looking to get $160 shipped and would prefer to ship to a business via UPS. Paypal as a friend or 3% added.
